Going Solar: It’s Just 5 Simple Steps!
1. Get a free solar consultation.
At any time, you can schedule a pressure-free solar consultation with one of our Solar Energy Consultants in your home or in our local Solar Design Center. A customized quote will be drawn up, estimating how much a SunPower solar energy system can save you in the years to come. Our helpful staff is here to answer all your questions and address any concerns you may have. Our goal is to help you discover if solar is right for you.
2. Sign Your Agreement
Once you and your Solar Consultant have determined that SunPower solar is right for your roof, you will sign an agreement, securing your energy costs for the next 25 + years. We’ve worked hard to streamline this agreement so it as clear as possible. This means no hidden fees—only guarantees and warranties, protecting your home and your investment in solar. If you have any questions, your Solar Energy Consultant will be there to guide you.
3. Design Your System.
Following your signed agreement, one of our Project Managers will schedule an appointment to assess your roof in-person, check the shading of your roof, and evaluate all the specifications needed to design a system that fits your home to save you the most money. No outsourcing. No one-size-fits all. Only the best for our customers.
4. Install Your Solar.
When you approve the design for your home, we receive approval from your local jurisdiction and schedule your installation. Our expert roofing and electrical crews install your system so that you can begin saving money on your energy usage. Your Project Manager will be communicating to you throughout this process so that you are well-informed about the status of your solar installation!
5. Time to Energize!
After completing your installation all we need is approval from your local jurisdiction and utility company. Once approved, then it’s time for the most exciting part of your investment: energizing your system! Someone from our team will come to your home, turn it on, and will walk you through the basics of how to save with your new SunPower by Green Convergence system.
